Going through my first listen now, but I feel I must add this to the conversation for sake of conversation: IMO, Efterklang's music live is on a level so far beyond whats heard on the albums. Having heard some of these new songs during their last US tour, I feel I can say that the new album is no exception. I'm not sure if its something holding the music back in the studio or if its just their tremendous love for their music and their appreciation to make it which beams from them while on stage which elevates it, but seeing them live is clearly better than a run through the album. Thought for food.

Actually "efterklang" might also be used to decribe what impression a person or event have left in your mind.

The danish word for reverb is "rumklang". The word "Efterklang" is usually only used when your discussing the qualities of the reverberation in a venue for classical music :)

I agree, it's a great album. The danish word Efterklang, however, does not mean remembrance – at least not litterarily. It really is Scandinavian for reverb.
