Remember when we posted about that hilarious, unintentionally (?) racist review of John Coltrane’s Live at the Village Vanguard? You know, the one by Ryan Schreiber, the founder of Pitchfork Media, who deleted his review (presumably after he realized how ignorant it was) from the website?
Well, some cats on the Internet, see, they got to a-readin’ Addictive Thoughts, see, and was reminiscin’ with that there Schreiber review…and shit, cat, them shit birds put pen to paper like nobody’s business, daddy-o!
I’m very proud to present a dramatic reading of Ryan Schreiber’s Live at the Village Vanguard: A Pitchforkian Review, which will no doubt become standardized reading in schools across America some time over the course of the next century.
(“It’s just misunderstood, man!” Just like that book about catching the rye.)
Do you dig, daddy?

If your prediction comes true and this becomes a required high school text, hopefully the teachers who are too lazy to read will show this video instead!
From everyone involved in this dramatic reading, thank you again for posting this! You deserve some fresh weed and a float down the River Nile.
