I’m a huge Stooges fan (Raw Power and Fun House are classics that I never tire of). I was pretty bummed that I didn’t get a chance to see them while they were touring last year (albeit not as upset as I was left by how awful The Weirdness was), and now I regret it even more. While I — like many people, I guess — tended to always identify the band moreso with Iggy and followed his solo output far more than any of the other guys in the group, there’s no denying how important the Asheton Brothers were to the sound of the group.
