Over the course of its previous run, I found myself investing a lot of time into reporting news, and it started to wear me down a bit and keep me from writing as many reviews as I’d have liked to and felt like the tone of the site itself was kinda shifting. I realized that there are so many other news sources out there that it probably doesn’t make sense for me to constantly be summarizing pop culture goings-on, but I’m going to try to blog less formal, more opinionated pieces from now on. So, like, if I see that latest episode of South Park or the new Terrence Malick film I’ll try to keep track of my thoughts here, and focus less on reporting that some celebrity just signed on to some movie. Or whatever.
